Venue
The location of the annual PGSA@UT Philosophy Conference is the Howard H. Baker Center for Public Policy at the University of Tennessee. The Baker Center is centrally located on the Knoxville campus, directly adjacent to the thriving and recently renovated Cumberland Avenue district, and convenient to the downtown Knoxville area.
Travel
The UT campus is around a 20 minute drive from Knoxville’s McGhee Tyson Airport (TYS). The campus and downtown areas are easily walkable, and both are also serviced by KAT's free trolley service and UT's own transit system. Visitor parking with accessible spaces will be available near the venue. Conference organizers will be glad to help presenters arrange for local transportation with UT graduate students to help offset travel costs. To arrange transportation details, please contact us via email ([email protected]).
Accommodations
There are numerous hotels in the downtown Knoxville area, though these can often get pricey and are subject to availability on busy Spring weekends. Please book well in advance.
In addition to hotel options, available Airbnb rentals within a walk or short drive of campus generally average around $90/night. We will also be able to provide a limited number of complimentary housing options (with UTK graduate students) for presenters, who can indicate their interest when registering for the conference.
Light breakfast, coffee and lunch will be provided at no cost to participants on both days of the conference. Vegetarian and vegan options will be available for all meals provided, and additional dietary accommodations can be made upon request. Please do let us know about any such restrictions or requests when you register, for planning purposes.

Accessibility
We are firmly committed to organizing this conference in order to make it as inclusive and accessible as possible for people with and without disabilities. We also recognize the need to work with individual participants to ensure that the conference is fully accessible and inclusive for them. Please contact us at [email protected] if you have any information or accommodation requests that will help us achieve these important goals.
